Upper and lower cases are THROUGH DOVETAILED...


Face frames are heavily pocket screwed prior to being attached to cases.

Drawers are SOLID Oak, through dovetailed front and back, with solid Oak raised panel bottoms...NO PLYWOOD!

 

All molding is SOLID wood buildups...


 ...installed on sliding dovetails or elongated screw holes to allow for wood movement.

 

 

Upper and Lower Cabinet Backs are SOLID 1/2" Oak...


...tongue-and-grooved, chamfered, and installed to allow for movement.



Gun Rack is semi-circular, allowing storage of up to NINE guns.

Upper rack is installed at 5 degree angle for proper display of guns.
Upper rack is installed on sliding dovetails, and can be changed out on request to accommodate over-and-under double barrel shotguns or other odd shaped guns. Once finish has been applied, it will be lined with thick cork to protect all gun barrels.
 


Lower rack is routed from 1 1/2" solid Oak stock and will be lined with cork after finish is applied.

 

Interior is lit by three low voltage Halogen lights.



Lights are wired to upper hinge using a touch dimmer.
.  Touch the hinge once to light, touch again to brighten, touch again for maximum brightness.
